Back in the 80’s
In the early 80's, a group of friends began DJing parties with 2 turntables, a microphone and several crates of records. This came to be because of an extreme love of music, and we always took the money we earned and bought more music and equipment.
It's the new style.

Unlike a lot of other mobile disc-jockeys, each of our sound systems contains an extremely
large library of music from every imaginable genre and era.
Most mobile disc-jockeys specialize in a certain genre of music. Each Knox Vegas DJ is
familiar with every genre; from oldies and big band, to country and current pop hits.
We have radio (clean) versions for children’s and/or religious events, or other occasions that
call for safe, inoffensive lyrics and music.
Which recently in 2009 there were complaints of other DJ companies playing dirty versions at school events
With the permission of the host, we honor requests and are courteous and friendly to guests.
Our DJ’s are professional and will not cross any lines. No mingling, no attitudes,
no drama.
You can create your own play list for events; with or without our help. If we don’t have a song,
we’ll do our best to acquire it.

With the innovation of easy to use DJ equipment, and the fact that a person with $500 in his or her pocket can buy a package called “DJ in a Box”, in the last 10 years it has become that anyone, with no experience or knowledge of music, can call themselves a disc jockey.
More and more the demand for real, bonafide disc-jockeys has grown, so we decided to form Knox Vegas DJ’s. We are bringing the real thing back to East Tennessee; so let’s have some fun with the music you love.
